An added bonus is that the foil cutter is a unique design that works the first time and doesn’t require several passes. I highly recommend this product to any wine lover.
We love this style of opener, but have had problems with the lift handle breaking. We have been using this one since we ordered it and so far find it easy to use, and quite sturdy. It is wise to pay attention to the actual screw piece since, when it starts to get dull, the handle is harder to pull up. However, we both have had hand surgeries, so we really appreciate when these openers are well made and work easily.
Terrific! Never used a simpler, easier or just plain cooler corkscrew! It’s been said that if you invent a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door. Meet the greatest “mousetrap” ever. I have no idea what the reviewers meant with some of their issues, this is SO simple to use. Follow directions, and voila` it’s open! Even simpler is removing the cork from the device, I think it may be easier than falling out of bed. Sorry I had not discovered this device years ago.
